Geology of N MN

The bedrock of Northern Minnesota contains some of the oldest rocks on earth formed through three geologic period the formation of Precambrian bedrock, the formation of sedimentary rock, and the Ice Ages.

Across Northern Minnesota this has created areas of gneiss outcroppings, metamorphic rock formed of granite and other rock; volcanic and sedimentary rock, the debris being sand, mud, and gravel; and iron ore deposits.

For three generations Fideldy Bros Well Drilling has lived and worked across northern Minnesota, gaining knowledge that only comes through the experience of interacting with the substructure of the land we live in.
